Biography
Thomas AMBROSI (born 1972), an Italian entrepreneur and inventor, put his head, heart and vision into the modern Agritech industry, creating ONO Exponential Farming.
Thomas joined the family business in 1997 and became its CEO, leading it to rank 390th in the Financial Times’ FT1000 ranking for the fastest growing companies in the world between 2014 and 2017. In 2008, he founded Alukeep, a company that supplies the metrology world with modular fastening systems with a single 3D joint. In 2014, he creates Sip-Italy Sewing, a business line that creates automation solutions for the Denim industry, and today a major player in the industry globally.
Studies in Mechanics and Robotics at Politecnico di Milano (1993-1997), Materials Engineering at the University of Trento and Master in Business Administration at Fondazione Cuoa.
In 2019, Thomas was also recognized with the 11th edition of the “Premio Verona Giovani” award, whose focus was on sustainability as a balance between economic, social and environmental priorities.

Abstract
ONO Exponential Farming has brought together on a single technological platform the most innovative cultivation techniques, the digital world and robotics, creating the first autonomous, modular and scalable production plant in the agricultural sector.
ONOEX allows to obtain standardized crops in terms of quality and quantity through the use of fully controlled and robotic environments.
The ONO/Os operating system monitors crop growth trends and autonomously implements corrective actions to achieve the best result. This allows farmers to plan and optimize production, crop stability and response to market demand throughout the year.
For the first time, the use of highly advanced technologies makes the germination and growth phases of crops profitable and predictable.
