Originy, Green Extraction industrial experience of microalgae for nutraceuticals and agriculture

Abstract
Industrial scale-up of the biorefinery concept applied to microalgae production and extraction to be realized needs a multidisciplinary approach where technical-scientific, managerial and business aspects are in tune with the paradigms of circular economy and economic and ecological sustainability.
The definition of what, how and why to produce a microalgae product goes through a systematic synthesis between these aspects and its territorial declination. We report here on Originy’s industrial contribution to the consolidation of the microalgae industry, so strategic to achieving the goals of the ecological transition.
