2016
The AquaFarm project is born, the exhibition and conference dedicated to aquaculture, shellfish farming and sustainable fishing. As part of the event, a series of conferences and an exhibition area dedicated to cultivation techniques in aquaponics and vertical farming are organized.
The goal is to offer a 360 ° view of technical applications for the production of food from water.
Collaboration begins with AVF – Association for Vertical Farming AVF – Association for Vertical Farming, the international association that deals with sustainable growth and the development of the vertical farming movement.

2017
On January 26-27, the first edition of Aquafarm took place. Dickson Despommier, the creator of vertical farming, confirms his participation to the exhibition as keynote speaker.
The exhibition area and the sector linked to vertical farming attract strong interest from visitors: full conference rooms, success for exhibiting companies and conference speakers.

2018
On February 15-18, the second edition of AquaFarm took place. The collaboration with AVF – Association for Vertical Farming – continues with the additional support of Vertical Farm Italia e ENEA – National Agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economical development. The exhibition area dedicated to the vertical farming sector expands thanks to the participation of major companies including Osram, Planthive, Idromeccanica Lucchini, Wasp.

Thus was born NovelFarm, the international exhibition and conference dedicated to the world of vertical farming, soilless and new cultivation techniques.

2021
The AlgaeFarm project is born, which expands the event to the algaeculture sector. The cultivation of algae and microalgae, although niche, is a segment that has seen an exponential growth in its volumes in recent years, also spreading to consumer products and finding particular application as a natural resource in the energy, food and pharmaceutical / cosmetic sectors.
